I am so over gloomy days and rain, thank god the sun decided to make an appearance! I can’t wait to go to the beach to start a much needed tanning regiment. I got this white dress from Bloomingdale’s a while ago and never got around to wearing it, except once before. I really love the huge puffed sleeves, open back, and doily-like detailing that makes this dress special. The brand, Aqua, is a Bloomies brand which is quite inexpensive and they copy designer pieces. So it’s kind of like a better quality Forever 21, just a bit pricier.
I’m actually a fan of puffed sleeves and strong shoulders, which I saw a lot of on the spring/summer 09 and fall/winter 09 runways. The remergence of 80s fashion is huge this year, the decade puffed sleeves were born. Its cousin, the leg-o-mutton sleeve, also came back. Is this a good thing? I’m not sure. When I saw an 80s vintage bridesmaid dress that had leg-o-mutton sleeves, I almost puked. However, I recently purchased a 3.1 Phillip Lim cadet jacket with a less obvious leg-o-mutton sleeve which I will post later. Enjoying the sunshine til then.

Just found your blog and I love it! You two are such cutiiiieees!!!
Quick question. When I wear heels, my feet always hurt so bad. Is there anything I can do or put something in my heels to make my feet hurt less?
Thank you ladies
Hi Tina!! Unfortunately, I’m in the same boat with you- my feet hurts when I wear heels, too. I only put padding in my shoe when they’re a bit too big, but it doesn’t help alleviate any pain of wearing heels. It’s always good to break in your heels before you wear them out, by wearing them around your house or maybe on short trips where you won’t have to walk too much. Practice always makes perfect- the more you wear heels, the less it seems annoying. Lastly, and quite simply, buy shoes that are most comfortable for you. Just because a pair of heels are to die-for, it doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your pretty feet for them. There are plenty of shoe brands that make comfortable heels, stilettos, platforms that are just as cute. Some contemporary brands are Stuart Weitzman, Taryn Rose, Cole Haan, and KORS Michael Kors.
wow you look gorgeous!! amazing outfits!
