Kat and I met while both attending UCLA in 2004 and became roommates in the fall of 2005. We hit it off immediately and have now become inseparable. I would describe Kat’s style as SoCal casual mixed with luxe essentials, her wardrobe consisted of name brand/designer pieces (and continues to do so). My style was a bit more kitschy and vintage-inspired. After being so close, I think that we have both influenced each other’s style, but of course, still maintaining our own individuality. I continue to love vintage clothes from the 60s-80s and obscure clothing, but I also like to buy current clothes and designer pieces. If it’s a vintage inspired designer piece, I’m all over it – I mean it just fits better and I can always save it for my own spawn. Regardless of brand name, style, or price, I just like to wear what makes me feel good and feels like me and that is all that matters.
xoxo, Kim
When I first met Kim I absolutely adored her unique/bold sense of style. Kim can pull off anything (everything looks great on her). I definitely like to buy items that I can wear for all occasions: work, school, party, etc. I’m more attracted to a plain/casual sophisticated look mixed in with an accent of louis, chanel, or gucci; whereas, Kim’s clothing style is more current with the latest trend. I’m always a little hesitant in trying new styles. But as Kim and I grew closer I’ve definitely learned to take chances with my wardrobe. Regardless of how different our styles and personalities are–we are united by our love for all things fashion!
Love, kat

Hi, I was wondering what eyeliner and eyeshadow you guys wear? Tres cute!
Hey Linda! On this day I used Dior style liquid liner in black. I also like to use Bobbi Brown long-wear gel eyeliner in black and black mauve shimmer ink- the application is easy and it really lasts all day. I can’t live without eyeliner!!
wow amazing! both of you! I love the platform lace-up!
Thank you. I like Bobbi Brown too, but my eyeliner tends to run? I haven’t tried dior. Any tips? Oh and I am also so stoked about the hello kitty plus mac mash up! And I agree with Punky those shoes are killer. BTW how tall are you? I am 5′9 and I feel self-conscious wearing heels, well I rarely wear them because my BF is 5′10.
I prefer using liquid eyeliner with a brush tip versus a sponge tip. I’ve tried drug-store liners that crack away within hours and mac’s sponge tip gets blunt after several uses. I first used estee lauader’s liquid eyeliner, but they’ve discontinued the one i like. So I recommend Dior’s style eye liner because the handle is short enough so you can have control for making the “winged” look. I recommend YSL liquid eyeliner for someone with a steady hand.
I am 5′4″ so I love wearing heels because it makes me as tall as most people. I once dated someone who was shorter than me and I stayed away from wearing heels, but in retrospect I wish I wouldn’t let my insecurities about our height prevent me from wearing what I wanted. I’ve seen lots of women date shorter men, and they pull it off with confidence. If you’re comfortable in what you’re wearing and your BF is confident about himself, then there will be no awkwardness. Plus, your BF will feel like he’s dating a runway model. xx!
Hi Linda! Sorry for my late response. I’m the type of girl who likes to wear her make-up the same way all the time. Well’ maybe, I’ll spice it up once in a while when I go out. The eyeliner I usually wear is by L’Oreal: Lineur Intense™ Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner (http://tinyurl.com/dcyhjm). It’s cheap and affordable because these things run out oh so quickly. I use it on my upper lids–it allows me create a dramatic and bold line and it drys quickly, too. It’s the easiest liquid eyeliner I’ve ever used and I never have to reapply. For the bottom liner, like Kim, I use Bobbi Brown long-wear gel liner but you have to use a liner brush which can be tricky. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other question or concerns
