Ironic right? Most native Californians would never say that out loud. But I’ve been yearning for fall fashion! I can’t wait to accessorize myself with colorful scarf, head warmers, and especially cardigans! However, I’m also very excited for knee boots! They’re just so amazing and fun!

I can’t wait to get a pair. It just doesn’t seem like the right time to purchase them–considering that it’s been <100 degrees the pass couple of days in So Cal and the fact that I’m volunteering for the government! Nevertheless, I’m still keeping my eyes open for the perfect pair. I’ve visited these pair of Convertible Over The Knee Boot everyday on www.freepeople.com for the past couple weeks and I think they’re worth it…

Spring 2009 “aggressive shoes” are here! I love everything about it–from the rocker Dolce Vita peep-toe boots to the Versace platform clogs. Who would ever taught that clogs could look oh so stylish! I’m glad platforms are in again; it’s just gives me the extra leverage I need since I’m only 5 ft and 1.5 inches.

After watching The City, I just had to preview Diane Von Furstenberg’s Spring 2009 Collection. These are some of the looks I was particularly fond of. Her line is very coherent and I loving the color scheme. The splashes of yellow, red, purple, and pink are perfect for spring and summer. Kind of random but I really want the headpieces. I tried to see whether or not they were on sale, but apparently not. It reminds me of flower power and first communion.

I’ve never been too fond of ruffles but after previewing this season’s designs I must say I’m sold. It could work on me. Prior styles that included ruffles always made it look too feminine or something my grandma would wear. It’s different this season–just look through the designs! What do you think?
